Director Revenue Growth Management (f/m/d)

The purpose of this role is to further develop and drive execution of the global pricing strategy for entire Jägermeister Brand portfolio, including supporting local teams in managing the business and other regular pricing events, preparing upcoming price decisions, and informing financial planning activities as required. The Director of Revenue Growth Management is responsible for leveraging data, insights, and enterprise knowledge to maximize category revenue and profitability through the analysis and strategic management of pricing, Advertising & Promotions and Route-To-market Management. The role has a global scope, with a particular focus on key strategic markets.
The Revenue Growth Management Director works in close collaboration with the Senior Director Commercial Development to optimize and further develop the overall price and market strategy for the Brand Portfolio. The Revenue Growth Management Director also collaborates closely with the Regional Teams to localize and execute strategy, with the global Finance functions to achieve cross functional alignments, as well as with Jägermeister Senior Management to ensure their approval of Revenue Related Proposals and risk mitigating strategies for specific business cases.

 

The following key responsibilties are waiting for you: 

  • Owns and further develop the Jägermeister Revenue Growth Strategy and long-term roadmap.
  • Link multiple cross-functional teams to monetize market and marketing execution data as well as consumer insights into tangible and significant Revenue Improvements.
  • Work closely with local commercial teams to analyze SKU-level pricing as well as the right Advertising & Promotion Investments and best in class Route-To-Market Approaches.
  • Engage Market Research to elevate our understanding of different pricing and promotion approaches.
  • Lead the development of end-to-end brand pricing strategies, price pack, and commercialization strategies in partnership with the respective Business Units and Brand Marketing.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Development Team to develop analytical tools, evaluate different pricing scenarios, and highlight trade-offs between profit, market share as well as Parallel Trade of various options.
  • Defines future pricing models, drives pricing governance and cross-functional alignments including global functions as well as country organizations.
  • Work closely with the commercial leaders to establish market pricing, necessary price adjustments, and other pricing related duties.
  • Establishes a network of data driven champions in the global organization including local subsidiaries.

 

Your Qualifications & Skills: 

  • University degree (economics, finance, or statistics).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate constructive discussion, challenge opposing viewpoints, and influence outcomes.
  • English fluency is required. Fluency/proficiency in German is highly beneficial.
  • Excel expertise required. Experience with SAP and other visualization tools is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in pricing, commercial or revenue management and analytical roles.
  • Prior experience in a similar role including solid exposure to managing Revenue Growth processes, implementing pricing initiatives, and creating pricing process documentation.
  • Expertise in pricing analysis, research, optimization, and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Revenue Growth strategies and concepts.
  • Experience within in the alcoholic beverage industry desirable.
  • Experience in pricing B2C and B2B products across multiple distribution models (direct and indirect) and all major world markets.
  • In-depth specialized knowledge of global pricing regulations and processes in key markets, and anticipated challenges and future developments of the Revenue Growth environment.
  • Must be able to effectively influence individuals at levels senior to him or her, as well as actively participate in meetings with sales, marketing, market research, and finance.
